Ben Linzey grew up in Clayton, California before coming to Grand Junction to study Nursing and Paramedicine at Colorado Mesa University.

 

Thanks to the incredible opportunities CMU offers its students, Ben fell in love with the Grand Valley and currently serves as a Firefighter/Paramedic for the Lower Valley Fire District. Ben is currently the highest credentialed paramedic in Mesa County.

Ben enjoys helping with the growth of our community through serving on the YPNMC board and with the Grand Junction Lions Club. Ben is currently pursuing his Masters of Science in Nursing from Vanderbilt University where he intends on sitting for his FNP and ENP board certifications following graduation to be able to operate as a nurse practitioner in Mesa County.

 

When Ben is not studying or working you can find him skiing up at Powderhorn or on the river with his family and friends. 

 

Ben's favorite aspect about the Young Professional Network is the opportunities it affords younger professionals from various industries to come together to learn and celebrate our community and each other.
