Roice-Hurst Humane Society Wants You to Join the Board
Calling all cat and dog lovers: the Roice-Hurst Humane Society is looking for some talented and committed young professionals to join its board.
Roice-Hurst Humane Society is looking for a couple of younger professionals to increase the diversity of its board and provide fresh insights. With the mission of “promoting bonds between pets and their people,” Roice-Hurst helps find “furever” homes for dogs and cats and provide programs and resources to help keep pets in their homes. Roice-Hurst is the only dog and cat shelter in Mesa County and it does not euthanize pets for space.
The board position terms are a 3-year commitment. The board currently meets the third Wednesday of the month from 5:30 – 7/7:30 pm. Please contact Sonya Foster for additional information or to do a tour of the shelter and see the many lives it impacts. Sonya Foster: sfoster@dalbycpa.com.
